This wine is crafted by the highly respected Domaine de Majas (certified organic) in the Roussillon region of Southern France. For several generations, the Carrère family of Domaine de Majas has been able to preserve old vines over 120 years old of Carignan, Grenache and Macabeu, delighting lovers of traditional grape varieties. The 2022 Domaine De Majas Cuvee Orange is an exquisite blend of Muscat à Petits Grains and Macabeu varietals. The grapes are macerated for one week then fermented and aged on the lees in a concrete vat. Unfiltered and unfined.

On the palate, the Domaine De Majas Cuvee Orange reveals a medium-bodied texture marked by a balanced acidity. Producer: Lucien Crochet

Grape: 100% Pinot Noir

Region: Loire

Appellation: Sancerre

Vintage: 2023

Style: Rosé

Lucien Crochet produces wines of impeccable focus, mouthwatering minerality, and outstanding concentration from their sizable holdings in Bué, in the heart of the appellation. Crochet’s complex and age-worthy Sancerre Rosé is pure Pinot Noir, from vines planted in Oxfordian and Kimmeridgian limestone; it is harvested by hand (a rare practice in Sancerre), pressed directly, and aged on its fine lees in stainless steel for six months. Vinous without being at all overbearing, it offers the visceral salinity of the domaine’s white wines alongside the red-fruited elegance of Pinot Noir from these distinctive soils.

Ripe berry fruit and saline minerality on the nose. Watermelon rind, citrus, and a touch of spice on the palate. Vibrant and crisp, perfect to pair with brandade de morue or petits pois.

Producer: Mont-Redon

Grape: 70% Grenache Noir, 30% Syrah

Region: Rhône

Appellation: Côtes du Rhône

Vintage: 2023

Style: Rosé

Chateau Mont-Redon has been in the Abeille and Fabre families for four generations, with its vineyard omnipresent for centuries. The first vines found at Mont-Redon date back to Roman times, 2,000 years ago. They were planted at the bottom of the hill that gave its name to the Mont-Redon property.

Chateau Mont-Redon owns 25 hectares of vines in the Côtes du Rhône appellation. The generous sun encourages the grapes to reveal all their best qualities on these terroirs. Mont-Redon’s extraordinary situation, at Chateauneuf-du-Pape’s highest elevation of 360 feet, is one of very few to include all three soil types found in the appellation. On the plateau’s summit are the classic alpine diluvium soils consisting of a deep layer of large, round stones over a clay subsoil that draws the vine roots far into the earth to find a source of water. The stones also act as a natural incubator, absorbing the intense Mediterranean sun during the day and radiating heat at night into the grapes. Planted with Grenache and Syrah, these soils lend structure and backbone to the fruit.

In the bottle: 70% Grenache, 30% Syrah made with the saignée method. Bright pink vibrant color with violet rim. Intense nose with primary fruit characters and intense aromatic profile. Light bodied, crisp, and refreshing style. This Côtes du Rhône rosé should be enjoyed young to fully appreciate its intense fruit character, its freshness and bright translucent hue. Ideally pairs with salmon rillettes, moules au curry, or for afternoon sipping.
