Goûters

 
 

When guests sit down with us at the bar, we want them to feel entirely welcome and at ease. We display goûters (afternoon snacks) on the bar as part of this sense of welcome. Some guests will point to a cluster of gougères (cheese puffs) and ask, “What’s that?” It’s a way to start a conversation or start a meal – by cracking fresh walnuts out of the shell while sipping a drink, or savoring our aromatic olives with herbs and orange peel.
