History of Buvette
Chef Jody Williams opened Buvette in early 2011 on Grove Street, in the heart of the West Village. Inspired by the charming cafés where Jody dined as a young chef in Europe, Buvette invites guests to indulge in the pleasure of good food and drink any time of day. Each detail evokes a sense of story and an attachment to place, from the baskets brimming with seasonal ingredients, to the heirloom keepsakes above the marble bar, to the furniture Jody collected over the years. In light of its evergreen popularity, Buvette has expanded to Paris, Tokyo, Mexico City, and Seoul.
