Salade Niçoise
The Salade Niçoise traces back to late 1800s Nice, the beautiful seaside city in southeast France. The salad’s flavors and colors are thoroughly Mediterranean: tuna, anchovies, haricots verts, soft-boiled potatoes, sun-dried cherry tomatoes marinated with capers, olives, mollet egg (halfway between soft-boiled and poached), butter lettuces, endive, watercress, and sliced radish, dressed with house vinaigrette.
Tuna ingredients: cured tuna, diced pepper, cucumber, zucchini, carrots, celery, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, oregano.
